Transforming Place

Designing and delivering projects that reflect local priorities, cultural context, and community aspirations.

We support community-led, inclusive, and sustainable place transformation. From infrastructure projects to climate action, our work ensures places reflect cultural context, promote local benefit, and respect Country.

Connecting with Country in Practice

We embed the NSW Government Architect’s Connecting with Country framework to guide the integration of Country-centred principles in infrastructure planning and delivery. Our approach supports design teams and artist briefs to authentically reflect cultural narratives and local knowledge, ensuring places honour and respect Country at every phase, from concept to construction.

Country-Led Infrastructure & Place Transformation

We enable community-led and culturally responsive infrastructure builds that reflect the aspirations of Traditional Custodians and local communities. Our work ensures that projects deliver tangible cultural, social and economic benefits, while meeting planning and sustainability goals.

Indigenous Participation & Design Integration

We support Indigenous participation planning, artist engagement, and the co-design of place-based narratives within infrastructure and urban development projects. Our methods ensure meaningful input from First Nations voices, embedded from early design through to procurement and construction.

Place Strategy Grounded in Country

Our place-based strategies honour Indigenous knowledge systems and support communities to lead in shaping future land use and development. We translate cultural values into practical frameworks that inform planning decisions, ensuring inclusive, Country-centred outcomes.

Lets transform places together

Tika EQ brings bold thinking, deep listening, and grounded practice to every project. We’re here to help shape policies, places and futures that work for all of us.
